Day 290: Clue

Went to the Dybas house to give Josh his birthday present and hang out for a bit. We had homemade crabmeat cheese and calzones. We also played Clue--Colleen won. [And on a completely unrelated note, I turned in my graduation application today!]

Day 287: Cards

Ash and I went over to Marc's to play cards with him and Dennis. We played Hand and Foot, Phase 10 (actually, we only played "Phase 5"), Skip-Bo, and euchre.

Day 253: February Birthdays

Had a little get together for Mandy and Nina's birthdays. We played Phase 10 and it took forever! [L to R: Marc, Mandy, Dennis, Nina, and Dan]

Day 230: John Wayne Game

Went to Mom and Dad's for dinner. Dad and I played the John Wayne Game that I made him for Christmas a few years ago. (This year I made him an expansion pack with new questions.)

Day 191: Wine & Games

Today was Kayla and Josh's Christmas program at church.  After the service, we went back to Colleen's to have a game day.  We played Triominoes (dominoes but with three sides) and drank wine.  It was fantastic.

Day 169: Phase 10

It was easier to teach Dan to play Phase 10 than it was for me to try to teach him Skip-Bo, so that's what we played.  ":)  Generally, Phase 10 is not my favorite game to play, but after a beer or two, it's pretty fun.

Day 128: Dominoes

 

Played dominoes with Dad and totally kicked his butt.  Then I played with Ashley and Mom.  I think Mom won that game, but it was close.

Day 124: Skip-Bo

Ashley and Ed played cards while I did homework.

Day 84: Game Night

Me, Jamey, Colleen, Ashley, Teressa, and Vic.

Ashley and I hosted game night at our house—complete with crabmeat cheese and wine.  We played Guesstures, Pictionary, Battle of the Sexes (we had uneven teams, so I had to be one of the guys), and Apples to Apples.

Day 74: Scrabble

I gave Scrabble to Gage for his birthday.  Last night we played a non-scoring game so that he could get a feel for it.  Tonight, we played and kept score.  It was a lot of fun.  I can't wait to do it again.

Day 42: Euchre

Dennis, Ed, Carrie, Ashley, and Marc.

Due to bad weather predictions, we decided NOT to go camping in Bay City.  Instead we played Euchre.  I think I'm finally starting to get that game... and it's kinda fun.
